"It reliably detects a loud sound from ambient noise, then among other options, will send an intent to Tasker so Tasker can act upon it. Battery usage is high, so I only turn on the detector while the phone is charging. Unfortunately there seems to be a bug in the detector receiving the "turn on" intent so I have to launch the app to turn it on Other intents work okay."

"Update! I got it to work with Tasker. theres a link to website you click.. but its for more clued up people. I find it odd no way to auto connect to tasker.. you think tasker would make it simpler.. but Im using the app to turn on the screen on the lock screen so google assistant works.. as it wont work if screen turned off even if enable all the options for google. so I say screen ok.. to turn on now. then OK google to ask what time is if Im laying down and awake from sleep but dont want to get up to click screen to read time. there is ONE BUG.. google assistant prevents mic access as soon as it reocrds it go silenct for 20secs"
